1. Tbl Settings: 60s timer / draw 2 / 2 cans / allow wilds / allow players 2
replace bots / nolimit on joining / NO allow watchers to see hand/ tbl private /
unrated / pw= buddies
2. Allow host 2 check tbl settings b4 beginning play or joining tbl. B polite 2
all, If a problem arises tell the host ASAP. U have 5 mins to get to the tbl or
be DQ'd. 3 ext given or DQ.
3. If UR booted U have a total of 5 mins for ALL TOURS! if UR booted 3 x's U DQ.
Non winner reports results in lobby as follows ***Winner/Non-Winner***
4. Finalists may jump the NT. (5 mins.2 get 2 tbl or DQ). Keep chat 2 a min.

Canasta Buddies Rules
Tips and helpful hints on learning the ins and outs of our Games.
2/2/2 what does that mean? the first 2 = 2 players, the 2nd 2= 2 cards, the 3rd
2= amount of canastas to go out. Sometimes you will see a game that is played
2/2/1 this means 2 players, 2 cards, 1 canasta. ;)
In games that are CANASTA ONLY, you cannot meld. You must hold all the cards in
your hand until you are able to discard a canasta. These are fun and challenging
games :)
In games that are 1 HAND ONLY, these are played with only 1 hand and the high
score wins.
A "RED" canasta is just another word for natural it cannot have any wilds in it.
A "BLACK" canasta must have at least 1 wild in it. The color of the cards in
both does not matter :)
INITIAL MELD GAMES: When a game calls for a specific set of cards to be melded
in inital meld, this means within the first turn not that they literally have to
be shown first. For example; Jack the Joker- if it is your turn and you meld in
that meld you must show Jacks with a Joker prior to your dicard. If you had
melded 7's and 10's in addtion to the Jacks & Joker this is fine, as long as
your joker went to the Jacks and you had the required card prior to your discard
:)

DEVILS BREW
2/2/2 In order to go out you must have exactly three 6's no more no less- YOU
CANNOT USE WILDS!!! DQ applies to errors.
FOUR LEAF CLOVER
2/2/1 You must have at least 4 melds with 4 cards before you put down any other
cards for your initial meld. If you do not have 4 melds with 4 cards in each
meld on initial you DQ~ SET TABLE FOR NO WILDS IN INITIAL MELDS!!! After initial
meld wilds ok. DQ applies to error
SEX ON THE BEACH
2/2/2/Sex on the Beach: You must meld Ks & Qs together, Wilds may be used. Ks &
Q's don't have to be melded 1st, but must be melded together before you can make
a can or go out. Js & As are jealous lovers & may be used as discards only. DQ
rules apply
UNDER ARREST
Table settings 2/2/2 This game is played as regular Canasta. The catch is: The
first person to get 3 of the Red 3's Is "Under Arrest" and cannot Canasta
anymore that Hand-So make the Canasta's as quick as you can to avoid
being"UnderArrest"
BASKETBALL 1 ON 1-
Table 2/2/1: This is a 1 Hand game and you only need one casasta to go out.
Everything else regular, DQ applies to errors.
BASEBALL
Table 2/2/2: THIS IS A CANASTA ONLY GAME. In this game you can only have 3
canasta's. Any more than 3 or less than 3 or if you meld anything you are DQ
GRACE OF ACE
Table 2/2/2: You must meld Ace's in your initial meld. You may use wild cards.
You can meld Ace's with other cards. DQ rule applies to errors
GUYS NIGHT OUT
Table 2/2/2: Your initial meld, each hand must have Jacks and Kings in it. You
can use wilds and you can pick up the pile as long as you meld Jacks and Kings
at the same time. You can meld other cards with your Jacks and Kings.
NASTY CANASTY
2/2/2 Game is played regular except if you get all 4 red three's you
automatically DQ.
RED DOOR
Table: 2/2/1: THIS IS A CANASTA ONLY GAME. The first canasta must be red
(Natural canasta no wilds). You only need 1 canasta to go out. You can make
black canasta's (Canastas with wilds) only after a red canasta is made. You may
not meld. DQ rule applies to errors
BROKEN MIRROR
Table 2/2/2: You cannot meld or canasta what your opponent already melded on the
table. DQ rule applies to errors
WILD WORLD OF CANSTA
Table 2/2/2: You can only use wilds when directly making a canasta. ALL WILDS
MUST GO STRAIGHT INTO MAKING A CANASTA. You cannot meld wilds. You can freeze
the deck. Rest is regular. DQ rules apply to errors
LICORICE
Tables 2/2/1 No picking up the pile, 1 canasta to go out. If either player gets
a red canasta they automatically win. Everything else reg. DQ applies to errors.
SHOPPING AT THE FIVE AND DIME
Table 2/2/2: You can meld at any time, BUT you can not make any canastas till
you have 5s and 10s melded to the table. DQ rule applies to errors.
Football
Tables 2/2/1 You must have 6 an aces melded first the only expection to this is
a "super touchdown, red canasta in 7's" you can also win the game with a "field
goal this is done by drawing all red 3's" All else reg. DQ applies to errors.
BIG FINISH
Table 2/2/2: All rounds are played to 2500 points until the finals. The final
match is played to 5000 points. Reg canasta rules app
BIG EASY-
ALL ROUNDS ARE PLAYED TO 2500POINTS UNTIL THE FINALS. THEN FINAL MATCH IS PLAYED
1 HAND ONLY . REG CANASTA
FIRE IN THE HOLE
Table 2/2/2: Game is regular. You can freeze, pick up the pile and go out
whenever you want. But as soon as all red 3s are out, you are no longer allowed
to go out. ( if a red 3 is in pile and 3 on the table they considered to be all
out)
NOTHING BUT CANASTA'S
Table 2/2/2: You can't freeze the pile. You can't meld any cards. You can only
make canastas. If you meld anything or freeze the pile you are dq'd.
Jack the Joker
Table 2/2/2: You must have jacks with a joker in your initial meld each hand...
everything else is reg. DQ rule applies to errors
ROYAL FAMILY
Table 2/2/2: Your first MELD of each hand con only be JACKS OR BETTER (J, Q, K,
A). You can meld wilds with your cards but you have to WAIT for your next turn
to meld other cards than J, Q, K, or A. You can only go out when you have a
canasta with J, Q, K, or A.
Jokes On You
Table 2/2/1: You MUST use a JOKER with a FACE CARD J, Q, or K in your initial
meld each hand. Rest is regular. DQ rule applies to errors.
Ladies First
Table 2/2/2: You must have Queens in your initial meld each hand. You may use
wild cards in your meld and you may meld other cards in the same turn. DQ rule
applies to errors
RED LIGHT DISTRICT
Table 2/2/2: In this game you only can make red canastas. No black canastas
allowed. If you make a black canasta you are DQED. You may freeze the pile pick
up and go out whenever you want.
BLACK LIGHT
Table 2/2/2: In this game only black canastas can be made (no red cans) you can
not discard black 3s unless you are going out. If you drop a black 3 and can not
go out you are d'qd, rest is regular
STROBE LIGHT
Table:2/2/2: this is a combo of Red Light District and Black Light, you play 2
hands high score total wins. 1st hand Red Light you may only make natural
canastas (red), 2nd hand Black light you may only make wild canastas (black) You
can use any color cards, just red=natural and black=wild
7UP
Table:2/2/2: You need to meld 7's in your initial meld. They can be melded with
other cards or when you pick up the pile. Wild cards are allowed. DQ rule
applies to errors
SANDBAG
Table 2/2/2: You are not allowed to use any wild cards until you are ready to go
out. You can't freeze the pile. Once you play a wild card you must go out that
turn or be DQ'd
No Out
Table 2/2/2: You are not allowed to go out at any time you can meld an make
canastas. DQ rule applies to errors
STUCK ON YOU
Table 2/2/2: You are not allowed to freeze the pile or go out at any time. If
the deck is frozen at the start, it can be picked up. DQ rule applies to errors
4 SQUARE
Table 2/2/2: All melds must contain at least 4 of a kind. You may use wild cards
with your melds. DQ rule applies to errors
SUBZERO
Table 2/2/2: Do NOT pick up the pile unless it is FROZEN. So make sure that
every time you want to pick up the pile that it is frozen. If the pile is not
frozen when you pick it up you are dq'd. Rest is regular.
1 HAND QUICKIE
Table 2/2/2: One Hand Only- Game played regular. The person with the highest
score after one hand is the winner ;) DQ applies to errors.
THROW THE DICE
Table 2/2/2: You must have Seven's and Ace's melded before any canastas can be
made. Wild cards are allowed in melds. DQ rule applies to errors.
LICENSE TO DRIVE
Table 2/2/2: You must have 6s and 10s melded to the table before you make any
canastas. You may pick up pile and meld anything at anytime. If you make a
canasta without 6s and 10's melded your dq'd.
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
Table 2/2/2: If you get 3 canastas in a row you win automatically. Like: 456 567
678 789 8910 910j 10jq jqk qka. You may meld and pick up the pile and go out
anytime you want
WORKING 9-5
Table 2/2/2: You can only make canasta's between 5s and 9s (5, 6, 7, 8, 9). You
can meld all other suits though. DQ rule applies to errors
YAHTZEE
Table 2/2/2: You must have a natural 5 of a kind in your initail meld, no wilds
can be used in this meld. You may use wilds with other cards that you meld. You
may not make a canasta in your first meld. You must wait one turn before you
canasta the natural 5 of a kind. DQ rules apply.
MONOPOLY
Table 2/2/1: You must meld one of every cards (a,k,q,j,10,9,8,7,6,5,4) before
you can make any canastas or meld out..Dq rule applies to errors
